Broker's Comments

I am pleased to be able to offer this very smart example of the every sought-after Calypso 28.

This example is very well presented and updated and boasts a brand new Vetus M329 engine fitted professionally last year and has covered just 59 hours from new! Add to that a bow thruster and hot water heating system (which also heats the domestic hot water), plus a further warm air heating system and you have a superb all year cruising boat.

She has a large aft double cabin with aft deck access and a forward saloon that can convert to another double so offers space and flexibility for a small family or couple. Calypso 28's have a good sized heads and shower compartment and a great forward deck and are always popular boats for these reasons.

She is very tidy and well equipped with a nice galley with ample room and a quality, clean and tidy cooker and twin burner hob plus she has a new domestic fridge. Her upholstery is all good and she is clean and tidy. She has a large aft storage locker under the aft deck.

Her delightful new engine starts and runs as you would expect from a new engine and is very quiet indeed. She has been fitted with plastic venetian blinds and a couple have been affected by the heat at the window and could do with replacing but this is the very minor criticism. The batteries are about 5 years old so these will be coming up to being replaced soon. Other than that she a very smart and comfortable place to spend time afloat!

She has a current boat safety certificate to September 2023, and her Cambs and Ouse river toll paid too for the remainder of the toll year.
